In the 14th January 2010 edition of the Luton Herald and Post, Bushwood ran a full page Advertisement. It contained a quote from a N. Nadeem (no known connection with Caddington and Slip End? - which is the area that would be destroyed if this monstrous development ever took place) Chairman of the Luton Bury-Park Business Corporation (whatever that is) promoting Bushwood's fanciful claim to be building a "fully funded" Football Stadium for Luton Town FC.

On Page 92 of the same Newspaper, Luton Town Director Stephen Browne talks about Luton Town still talking to four developers and landowners about a new stadium. He is also quoted as saying about the Bushwood plans for a "Fully Funded" stadium: "It gives completely the wrong impression. It makes it sound like we are moving to  a fully funded stadium. That does not mean it is owned by the club. We don't want to be in a position like that".
