On Saturday 23rd January 2010 Bushwood started distributing leaflets within the Parishes of Caddington and Slip End giving the false impression there would be a "clear green buffer" between the existing and proposed development. As someone commented "It's akin to someone proposing to build a great big block of flats in your garden, but expecting you to be grateful for the fact that they have left you with a window box of daffodils".

More importantly, in some parts of the two Parishes the proposed development directly adjoins existing housing - this is a fact.

Local residents should not be mislead by speculative house builders with an eye to making a quick few million £ at the expense of the residents' Green Belt.

Oh - and how surprising these leaflets started arriving exactly 1 week before our 30th January CaSE4 March & Rally. CaSE4 thinks Bushwood knows that the truth is starting to win through.
