Developers in Scarborough, calling themselves The Sands, seduced Residents with exotic plans of Urban regeneration. Along with lots of new houses, residents were promised an open air theatre, swimming pool, leisure park and cinema. CaSE4 particularly liked the promise of a newt sanctuary.

In January, in leaflets put through Slip End residents doors, we were asked to believe Bushwood have "found" yet another £50 million "to enhance the local roads and transport". CaSE4 couldn't find that commitment in their earlier plans.
What will Bushwood promise us next? That they have seen Elvis in Caddington Skyfries or seen Shergar galloping down the Markyate Road in Slip End?
